DAVID-BROWN

750 Farmatic - Made by WAHL

David Brown 750 FarmaticThe David Brown tractor model 750 Farmatic was produced from 1962 until 1964 by Carl Friedrich Wahl, Balingen (Germany). The engine is a four-cylinder direct injection diesel engine, type AD4/20. Stroke and bore is 88,9mm, 2210cm³, 25 / 28 hp(M). Engine and frame is fitted to a germann ZF A-205 transmission using a custom made interconnection. The clutch is Fichtel & Sachs, dual clutch. Transmission is quite popular in germany, has 2 x 4 front gears + 1 x 4 reverse gears. Hydraulics is Bosch / ZF. Transmission has two speed PTO and slip differential. Transmission operates very smooth and very accurate compared to the original DB ones. Brakes are independent left and right (allows for steering), plus independent emergency brake.
Wahl had been exclusive importer of DB in Germany back then in the early 1960s. He also fitted on the models 850, 950 and 880 larger mudguards and additional bench seats.

This site is still in an early stage and it's intent is to provide help and information related to the David Brown 750 Farmatic. I have plenty of repair pictures, that I will present here. These will allow for an insight to otherwise hidden spots of the vehicle. Sometimes they can serve as a real-world exploded view of certain components.
